Worth far more than jewels,
She will never be poor.
Husband trusts her and she does him
good;
Keeps herself busy making clothes;
Brings home food like merchant ships;
Gets up early and prepares food;
Buys lands and plants vineyards;
Knows the value of hard work;
And, is strong and respected.
She is generous to the poor,
Speaks with gentle wisdom,
Always busy and never tired,
She is never afraid of the future.
Her
husband is popular in his place.
He praises her
as the best wife.
Children are
good – they appreciate her.
They call her
the best mother.
She deserves the respect
For she honours the LORD.
