“To think is to be full of sorrow”. When we ponder over the
meaning
of life, everything becomes a puzzle, a riddle, a teaser!
Our entire
life is like chasing the wind.
However,
as the philosopher says, in the Book of Ecclesiastes 9:8&9:
“Always look happy and cheerful….
Enjoy every useless day of it (life),
because that is all you will get for all your trouble”
Objective Correlative [Inspiration: Ecclesiastes]
(1)
Straighten out what is crooked
Count things that aren’t there
Chase the wind
Know the difference
between wisdom and madness
(2)
Birds are suddenly caught in a trap
Fish are suddenly caught in a net
Elephants are suddenly caught in a pit
People are trapped by
some evil moment.
