(Sr. Casilda wanted me to write this in March 2004)
Gaze at the sun rising and setting, at Kanyakumari;
Bathe in the refreshing waters of Courtallam;
Trek up the hills of enchanting Kodaikanal;
Relish a tea in porcelain cups, in Nilgris hills;
An elephant safari in Mudumalai forest
And a long stroll along the east coast
From Mahapalipuram to Pondicheri;
Gulp the juicy halva of Tirunelveli;
Saunter in the silk sarees of Kancheepuram;
Admire the temple town of Kumbakonam;
Watch the bull fights at Madurai
And the dance festival of Chidambaram;
Drive along the rice fields of Thanjavur;
Revel in the music-filled air of SingaraChennai;
Count the pillars in Rameshwaram temple;
Run away from the buzzing cities to cool Yercaud;
Enjoy the waterscape and backwater cruises of Pitchavaram;
Take the curative powers of Hogenakkal waterfalls;
Mingle with the holiday-seekers in the beaches;
Dive into the safe waters of the deep blue seas;
Cool yourself in the cataracts of Thirparappu,
Immerse in the ripples of Keeriparai streams,
And, lose yourself in the scenic power of Thotil paalam.
One can go on and on… …
ENJOY the Beauties of Tamilnadu!
