Child-like Faith : Christ Heals the Blind

Jesus Heals the Blind

Jesus, the great physician reached out to the blind man,

Made him whole with tender hands, he touched his eyes,

The man once lost in endless night saw the world in a new light.

He gazed upon the sky, the trees, the ground, and jumped in joy.

The people who had known his plight  marveled at this sight,

For not only had his eyes been healed, but his soul too.

He saw the truth and grace, in Jesus' face.

Let us too, like the blind man see Christ’s love

And leave our doubts and fears behind.

Healing the Blind with His Spit

Jesus, the son of God, walked the earth

Performing miracles of immeasurable worth.

One day he came upon a man so blind

And with just a touch, He healed his eyes.

Jesus did something quite strange

He spat on the ground and mixed the mud

With his fingers, he touched the man's eyes

Instantly, the man saw a heavenly scene.

Jesus had healed the man with his spit

And in that moment, the man's life was lit.

Let us remember that with belief and trust

We too can be healed by the touch of His hand.

Jesus Healing Two Blind Men

In a dusty street, two blind men sat

No light in their eyes, no hope in life

They heard of a man, a healer and a sage

Who could open eyes and make them bright.

So they cried out, "Son of David, have mercy on us!"

They knew He was coming, this man they could trust

Jesus stopped; with heart full of grace He asked them,

"Do you believe I can give you sight and life?"

"We do, Lord," they said, with faith in their heart.

Jesus, moved by their trust, said, "Let it be done"

In that moment, the world turned clear

And they praised God shouting with joy.

Jesus smiled at them, his love shining bright

"Go and tell others of this wondrous sight

Spread the good news, the healing power of God

And let others see, like you, that I am the Lord"

Let us, like the two blind men

Tell everyone about the one who could mend

Our hearts and eyes, and give us a start:

The healer, the Saviour, our all in all.
