Jesus Withers Fig
Tree / Outside Bethany
Jesus walked the dusty road,To Bethany, where he'd be bestowed,
With love and care from friends so dear,
He knew he was always welcome here.
But on the way, he chanced to see a fig tree barren,With righteous anger, he declared,
"May no one eat from you!" and then he left
The tree to wither: a symbol of His divine power.
So let us learn from Jesus' deed,And strive to bear good fruit and do God's will,
Love and serve, and never stand still,
A symbol of His love and majesty.

Temple Tax Paid with
Coins Found in Fish's Mouth
On the shores of Galilee,
Jesus' disciples did see
A fish with a coin inside,
Incredible, but very much true.
For the temple tax they must pay,
They had no funds on that day,
But Jesus said, "Fear not, my friends,
For provision God
always sends."
He told them to cast their nets,
They obeyed and caught a fish,
Inside its mouth was a coin bright,
Sufficient to pay the tax on time.
May we always remember this tale,
And trust in Him who will never fail,
For He provides for us each day,
In His loving and gracious way.

God knows everything,
To the heights of the skies,
Just like the Samaritan woman,
Who met Jesus at the well,
He spoke with love and kindness,
Though he knew her every sin,
And offered her forgiveness,
And new life to begin.
For God knows everything,
He sees the good within us,
