All for a Father's Blessing

Fathers,  speak blessings into the life of your children.

They like it

They need it.

Jacob's Blessing Deception

A tale of old, of Jacob's guile
To steal his brother's prized privilege
Isaac's blessing, meant for the first
Jacob, the trickster, found his way to be first.

A savory meal, a coat of hair
Disguised as Esau, Jacob dared
To fool his father, who was blind
And claim the birthright, so he'd find.

But woe to Jacob, for his lies
Would haunt him, and his life surprise
With Laban's trickery, Leah and Rachel
Jacob's road was long and fickle.

Yet through it all, he never strayed
His faith in God, he always stayed
And in the end, he earned his name
Israel, a nation, of his fame

So let us learn from Jacob's tale
That honesty will always prevail
For though his tricks, may bring some gain
In the end, it's truth that will sustain.
