Lot's wife turns back.
Lot's wife, a pillar of salt,
A warning for all to behold.
Her curiosity, her fault,
For looking back, she was hit.
The fall of Sodom and Gomorrah,
A punishment for their wicked ways.
But Lot and his family, with no drama,
Were saved by God's amazing grace.
As they fled, Lot's wife took a glance,
At the city that once was grand.
But her disobedience had no chance,
For God had already made His stand.
Her body turned into a pillar of salt,
A reminder for all to see.
That disobedience will never exalt,
And to God we must always obey.
So let us not look back like Lot's wife,
But keep our focus on God's plan.
For in Him we have eternal life,
And a future that's secure and grand.
