Winning the Invincible : Boy David

David Defeats Goliath.

In ancient lands of long ago,
A giant stood, a fearsome foe.
Goliath was his mighty name,
A Philistine of great acclaim.

He challenged all the armies bold,
Defying them with words so cold.
None could match his strength and skill,
All were trembling at his will.

But then a boy named David came,
With sling and stones, and faith aflame.
He faced the giant with a heart so true,
And knew that God would see him through.

The giant laughed with scorn and jest,
But David stood his ground with zest.
He whirled his sling with deadly aim,
And struck the giant, to his shame.

Goliath fell with thunderous sound,
And David's name was quickly renowned.
He had defeated the giant's might,
With courage, faith, and skill so bright.

So let us all, like David, be,
With hearts of faith and bravery.
And face our giants, large or small,
And trust in God to help us all.

 Stone in his Sling &
Faith in his Heart

"You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head," said David  to Goliath, the Philistine giant
