King Solomon Solves a Dispute.
Two women came before King Solomon's throne, Each claimed the child was hers alone.
Both were filled with passion and with pain,
Each insisting that the child was theirs to claim.
Solomon listened to their words with care,
And saw that neither woman would share.
He pondered deeply on what to do,
For he knew the child belongs to only one of the two.
The King spoke with wisdom, firm and fair,
He said, "Let us split the child in two and share."
The first woman nodded with cold consent,
But the second cried out in dismay, relent.
"For mercy's sake, my Lord," she cried,
"I beg you, let the child's life abide.
If it must be shared, let it be with her,
But do not let this innocent life be severed."
With this, Solomon knew the truth,
The second woman, with her love, shone through.
He granted her the child without delay,
And all were blessed by the wisdom of that day.
For in that moment, Solomon's decree,
Revealed the power of love's honesty.
The child was saved, and justice was done,
Thanks to the wisdom of a king, loved by everyone.
Solomon's wisdom attracted
Queen of Sheba from afar
